NICK SYNERGY was initially exposed to electronic music by an alternative radio show in 1992, and has since been completely immersed in electronic music and its culture. He was first exposed to Goa Trance by hearing "Tenskwa Tawa" by Total Eclipse, which was featured on a techno compilation in the mid 90s. He purchased turntables in 1995, and began collecting records while learning to beatmatch. He soon discovered Goa Trance to be an abundant genre all its own and began picking up all of the quality Goa Trance he could find.

By the late 90s, Goa Trance had given way to psytrance, which at the time leaned heavily toward minimal, tech, and progressive sounds. This caused him to lose interest in psytrance until he moved to Arizona in 2000 and soon joined the area's only psytrance-centric event organizers, Overmind Works. It was here that he discovered the resurgence of full-on psytrance and found a new passion for this music.

His ability to play quality electronic music of all styles and his dedication to finding the funkiest, grooviest, and craftiest sounds has made him one of the most sought-after DJs for psytrance in the American southwest.
